Conversate, it's converse you illiterate peon!

    Orientate, it's orient (see above)...

    Misch-E-vious, speaks for itself.

Anything British ending -ery, they drop at least one whole syllable, if not two, depending on the word.

All North Eastern American accents with words ending in -ar or -er sound.... Take ya ca to da ba. It's worse than ebonix my leaps and bounds.

Comfterble... it's com-4-ta-ble you blithering mOron!

    Intresting... it's in-ter-est-ing!

    And hundreds more!

    And many many many more!

How on earth is an American English speaker that learned Russian supposed to know how to pronounce French words? I know I make an idiot of myself when I go to a store and ask to see a particular fragrance. I usually start by saying, "I am going to butcher the name but I am looking to sample...". That is the best I can do. Sorry if I can't pronounce words in every language!

One of my pet peeves is when people say, "very unique". Makes me cringe.

In some communities Axe body spray must be prounounced "ask". LOL.

I am not alone! Thank the lord. How can something be 'very unique'? Just ask yourself: can it also be 'a little bit unique'? Sheesh.

Me too. An SA once tried to correct my already correct french pronunciation to 'geer layne.' So irritating.

The other one that gets me is parfum = par- foooom. Eau de par - foooom.

"nucyular" for nuclear always gets to me.
