i bought a bottle of cologne today at belk that I thought smelled good in the store, I got home and opened it and sprayed once and realized its headache inducing and I dont really care for it. i have the reciept but the clear box wrapping is in multiple peices. will they return it? anyone have this experience at belk?

Can't say for sure, but you have nothing to lose by trying. Give it a shot.

Yeah just try...what'd you buy? I'm sure someone here on BN would gladly buy it.

I would never think to return a fragrance that I bought and didn't like or changed my mind on.

If they value their customers they will let you return it.

might be a bit hard since the plastic wrap is off and has been used lightly

Actually bought Chanel Allure Homme Sport. Really don't like it, although I thought I did in the store. And I would consider selling on BN but I want cash or store credit. And I tried to swap another fragrance on here but noone answers the PM so yeah...

And dougczar, do you just keep everything you buy? haha. I can only spend so much (jobless Highschooler) so I only want fragrances I really like.

This.  I would say you should keep it and just re-sell it on Ebay or elsewhere as used.

I personally haven't either but it seems to be becoming more common with many people these days.

Hey I work behind a fragrance counter and there are generally no returns done on opened items due to regulations set by the health dept. That is here in the US though.

sell it on ebay if they don't give you your cash back

I took it back to belk this morning. And I am in the us. Full cash refund down to the penny. No questions asked about it being open and I told her I sprayed it once as she was refunding me and she said it doesn't matter.
