It's a really crisp scent, perfect for winter but definitely not a scent I'd wear. However, I think it would be great for a man. It smells just like a pine scented candle I own. It's a very pungent pine scent with a bit of smoke to it. It says it has a hint of wildflower but I'm not getting any wildflower. There does seem to be a tiny hint of something like brown sugar though.

If you're looking for a pine scent which reminds you of being fireside on cold winter nights, this might be worth a try.

This looks very interesting. Thanks for the post!

You mention "pungent"; do you have any thoughts about the potency? Does it last well? Does it project at all?

Any further thoughts would be most appreciated!

I've been hearing some great things about this brand. Look forward to hearing more, also.

I'm alone today so it's hard to tell about the sillage. My impression of the lasting power is that it's got quite abit, but it certainly mellows after a few hours. I know that since I applied, it's all I can smell for several hours.

One nice thing is that she offeres samples very inexpensively so you could check out her samples and try it for yourself.

Her prices are fantastic, even for her full-size bottles. Time to pull the trigger I think!

I haven't looked yet in any detail, so I'm open to suggestion. A good cross section of the line would be advisable, but I personally favor resinous and challenging scents more than anything. I'm sure Arizona will be on the list!

Then perhaps you'd like 'On the Masculine Side Disvovery Set'? $25 is a good bargain to try 6 scents.

I am totally in love with the California Chocolate personally, but it's a gormand. Also a fan of the osmafume!

Blackbird has a lot in common with Arizona, but has some sweetness added. You might try that one.

Having just taken a quick browse, the DEV set looks interesting, as does Kyphi and Tropic of Capricorn.

I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on the Devil scents. It sounds like they are quite strong. I have to admit that the name turns me off. I don't understand why you'd want to alienate people that way, but maybe that's just me.

Samples arrived! I'll start testing soon enough, and will probably get a general discussion thread going for the whole line.

    So far, very interesting indeed!

Looking forward to the discussion thread. I'm still going through the deluxe sampler set. No clear winners for now... but at least I think I'm getting a handle on the house style.

Problem is, where to start the thread? It's clearly unisex. I'm tempted to start it over in the ladies section. But it's good to know we'll have a few voices involved!

I haven't found one that I truly love yet either.
