I was walking my dog and he stopped to eat some grass. Beside the grass, there was a plant and as he started shoving his big head in, the plant started moving and sending whiffs my way.It smelled divine !

Any idea what this plant is ?

Any fragrances based on this ???

It was used a lot as an ingredient as it's a bit rosy and cheaper than rose oil, so was often used in floral fragrances to augment the rose.

Demeter and Floris both make fragrances based on the actual pelargonium (Rose Geranium) note, although someone else should hopefully know more.

I was going to say Geranium, but lpp hit the nail on the head with Pelargonium. I love that scent too!

However much I love bottled fragrances, I love even more to just smell the raw plants out in nature, there is nothing like it.

It smelled spicy, sweet with tiny bit of acidic citrucy vibe.

    Beautiful !

We grow a few and they're so lovely to brush past, although they do grow quite fast!

I love the scents of flowers too :)

The Demeter one looks promising - although you could cheat and just buy some Essential oil (unless you are scared of allergies)!

For sure . But once again, i just want to double make sure : It smells spicy, a little sweet(ala patchouli) with some kind of acidic citrus added to the aroma.

    Agree ?

Yes, definitely more acidic/spicy/rich than actual rose.
