Hi everyone - have a nice day!
ASAQ Ward Taif today, for now.
Vintage Chanel Nº 19 parfum
Good morning, good smelling people. This week all my kids go back to school...The oldest 2 I take up to college later in the week, the 2 littles start day school at the elementary tomorrow.
Neil Morris City Rain. We have had the loveliest rainiest summer down here this year; sunny mornings and afternoon storms, my favorite season.
Kalli, I'm sorry to hear of the wildfires! I live in verdant and flat West Michigan and it's hard to imagine what that must be like. My cousins live out there and I get status updates about it from them, but it seems so alien to me.
Course that makes me curious, what scents do you reach for when all you smell is smoke? Tobacco Vanille? L'air du Desert Marocain?
Magnifiscent, what a wonderful review. Makes me wish I had worn this one today. But I"m in another Chanel beauty, 1932.
Good morning! Hot and humid today, temps in the 90's and it's already feeling muggy outside. Well, this weekend we helped my son move, he and his fiancee are renting a house approx. 20 minutes away. I'm very happy for them, we helped them unpack on Saturday. They did set a date finally for their wedding, it's August 9th, 2014 in Las Vegas. Sounds like a long time away, but I'm sure the time will go fast!
Kalli, so sorry to hear you're affected by the wildfires out west, please take care!
Wearing Jo Malone Lemon Tart to help with the heat today.
Have a happy Monday, everyone!
Oh, it's every summer these come, these wildfires. The smoke is especially bad this time around cause the fires are closer. When there is no wind..the smoke just settles here. Hopefully, it will roll out. The smoke could last for weeks they say. Seems like they get worse every year. I love summer but hate the fires that go along with it. I don't like to wear scent much when there is a lot of smoke, lol:). Sometimes, one can see ashes falling down..it's kinda like, 'what's that, snow?' Duh, doesn't snow in the summer, lol..then you look closer..'oh, it's ashes'. Every year, lots of smoke. Seems like August this year and last isn't a good month. Blech.
Bois des Iles (EdT) today.
I really enjoyed your review of No.19 too, Mags. A kind soul on here shared some vintage parfum with me a while back so I can say with certainty that you smell fantastic! Of the current versions, I enjoy the rosy, EdP most, though I do miss the leatheriness of the vintage.
Best to everyone.
