    Old Perfume Bottles

Hello all . . I'm brand new here and over in England . .

I was wondering if any of you were not only intersted in perfume itself but also collectors of vintage scent bottles?

I am fascinated by the design of scent bottles themselves and as an artist have an eye for such things.

I particularly love the look of this Pascall one and although I'm only just considering staring to collect antique and vintage bottles I have been lucky enough to find a glass bottle from this perfume. Sadly it doesn't have the rest of it in tact but the bottle itself is perfect! I'm very excited about finding it and wanted to share my news.

The majority of perfume bottles are mass produced bottles and designs based on mainstream pop culture or inoffensive lethargic rectangular bottles.

I personally am not a collector of old vintage bottles but you might want to take a look at the Perfume Bottle Collecting Forum where you might find people who share your same interest: http://www.basenotes.net/f/81/perfume-bottle-collecting

With over 300 bottles that would just take up more space

I do collect vintage and antique bottles, not with a mania ,just when I find really beautiful bottles, or bottles with a historical referencepoint , either scentwise or by design. Not splurging on Laliques, but when I stumble across them :)
