that certainly looks like a good price for a creed scent, but having sampled it i must say it's one of the times you can see why the price has been reduced to $30... to me, it smells like the alarming almagamation of bath and body works/victoria's secret/insert-cheap-celebuscent-here, and the result is an extremely synthetic fruity-floral that could have a disney channel celebrity's face slapped on the bottle.
deep breath... of course, just my opinion! ;-) either way though, considering your mother's preferred scents, the fruity-floral might not be her first choice. it sounds like she likes sweet, warm second-skin type fragrances - how about SJP lovely, or estee lauder sensuous, or hermes l'ambre des merveilles? also despite the juvenile packaging, i think your mother may enjoy many Juliette Has a Gun perfumes, as many of them are built on rose/amber/vanilla accords.
