Hi, after receiving such excellent suggestions for a new tuberose perfume, I found the PerfumedCourt and decided to order some samples there...before I click this buy button, can anyone tell me if these are the legit perfumes?

I have had no problem with them at all. I've found them a fabulous way to try fragrances that are not available to me locally. Just be aware that, because they do it all by hand, there can be a bit of time between when you place your order and when you receive it. Not a big deal, IMO.

Waywardspirit, welcome to Basenotes! The Perfumed Court is an excellent company and a good way to try fragrances. I've had only good experiences with them.

100% legit!  No worries on your end.

Aside from the clunky interface, I've been very happy with them.

    Good to go.

All this being said, I am now on Day 9 and they STILL have yet to process and ship my order. I ordered from them once before and was a bit frustrated when it took almost a week to process my order of 3 small samples, but they do tell you in advance that it can take a while to process, so I let it slide. But now I'm getting frustrated! I've sent a customer service request, and have yet to hear back.

Such a bummer, they had come so highly recommended (especially by BNers.....) Hopefully my experience is a fluke....

They are legit. They do not turn orders very quickly. I was frustrated with the wait time on my orders as well, but everything arrived in great condition. Hope this helps!

Have to be honest about my own experiences...My orders
have always taken a long time to ship...Once had 2 items
backordered and after waiting several weeks had to email
repeatedly to finally get my backorder...on 2 other orders
had leakers...hate the 8ml bottles they use because they
    fall over...
On the other hand, my regular source for samples/decants has become
is Surrender to Chance...3 to 4 day turnaround , no leakers,
8ml square bottles that don't fall over and awesomely friendly...
    IMHO

I used to order tons of samples from them when I first joined basenotes. It's a legit company but I have found other sources to place my samples instead of the Perfume Court for several reasons as below.

    1. Shipping could take quite some time

    2. Prices are not quite competitive

    3. Sample spillage - not many but quite a few

One plus thing was a delicious coffee/caramel candy included with the package.

I go to Ebay and look for manufacturer's samples, fragrancevials dot com, directly from perfume houses. Below is an old thread that some info might be no longer valid though there will be some useful info.
