Hurry up, people! Get those suggestions in before I close the door!
I'm no expert on floral chypres, and it's been forever since I smelled Ysatis, but for modern designer scents for women, I think that Gucci has some great stuff. I love the old Gucci by Gucci EDP as a tiare chypre with some serious sweet woods thrown in, but I'm not sure that's a good recommendation - it's a bit heavy. However, their "Flora" series is really nice, in both my opinion and my wife's. The basic Flora EDP, and the recent flankers (Gardenia, Magnolia, and Tuberose) all seemed interesting. I do like the Bottega Veneta mentioned by Kiliwia.
My favorite feminine out there now is either the new Carven, or the quirky Marni fragrance. However, that may change. I'm going out sniffing later!
