    Hey guys,

I recently posted looking for a particular scent for myself and the response was overwhelmingly helpful. Looking for that same kind of Basenotes love and expertise!Only now I need help with suggestions for my wife. The only fragrances she is drawn toare:

    Marni by Marni EdP

    Bottega Veneta EdP

Bond No. 9 Signature Scent (Gold bottle)

Looking for suggestions forscents to try that are similar to these, please! It bears mentioning that I've read that Lyric and Mohur are similar, but the cost is prohibitive for her, so she hasn't even tried those. We got a free sample of the Bond No. 9 frag from local Saks.

She is fairly particular and although she enjoys the drydown of Bottega Veneta, she thinks the first two hours are too "harsh". She is flat-out in love with Marni, but she is having serious longevity problems with it.

Shedoesn't like fragrances that are dominantly floral or overall sweet. We have smelled just abouteverything they offer in department stores (Dillard's, Macy's, etc.)and they are all resounding "no's" for her.

Here are a list of fragrances she has tried and will not wear:

    Acqua Di Parma Iris Noble

    Chanel 31 Rue Cambon

    Chanel Coco

    Chanel Coco Mademoiselle

    Guerlain Shalimar

    Guerlain Mitsouko

    Hermes D'Orange Verte

    Hermes 24 Fauborg eau delicate

    Hermes un Jardin en Mediterranae

Hermes un Jardin Sur le Nil

    Hermes Elixir des Merveilles

    Jo Malone Lime Basil Mandarin

    L'Artisan Bois Farine

    Rochas Tocade

    Thierry Mugler Angel

    Thierry Mugler Alien

Thanks again for all your help! Excited to share this new-found love with other enthusiasts!

If you don't have much response, please let us know & it can easily be moved to the Female Discussion board - it may have a better response there.
