Earlier this weekend I found this place in West Edmonton Mall called "No Excuses: Fragrances for Less". It actually seems to be the only place you can get Creed in Edmonton at least.
I sampled Aventus, and while it seemed legit, I'm still not entirely sure as I've only tried out Aventus maybe three or four times prior to this one. It definitely seems like a good batch to me. Pretty decent longevity and projection compared to other batches of Aventus I've tried. It's been about 6 hours and I can still smell it fairly decently. As for the sample bottle they had, it definitely seems legit. The engraving on the cap and on the sprayer itself seem to be correct, although the label on the bottle itself was peeling off.
The store itself definitely looks a bit sketch and I'd honestly say that I'm only 90% certain it's legit. I believe for the large bottle, they were charging $280, which presents itself as a pretty decent discount. Initially I was going to purchase it and post some pictures of the box, etc to get it authenticated but they don't accept returns.
Has anybody purchased something from a store like this before? Every mall seems to have at least one store similar to this one.
Also, right now my only other immediate options are to order it online either directly from the Creed website itself or from another place. I've heard pretty varied things about FragranceNet. Does anybody have any recommendations as far as shipping to Canada goes? Also, I'm a bit concerned about batch variations. Will any of these sites provide me with the batch/lot number before I purchase it upon request?
