I like old school frags, and I have read reviews and I am looking at the different Van Cleef and Arpels so here is the question. Tsar or Pour Homme?

I own and like both but of the two I think I like Pour Homme more.

Both, but Tsar is nearly a masterpiece to me!

    Tsar

Like most of their fragrances, but would fully recommend pour Homme.

    Tsar

    Both are very good!

If you want it more formal, loud and lasting all day, pick 'pour homme', if you like it more green, smokey and gentle choose Tsar.

    You can't test them?

I am sure this will not be a popular response but I would strongly urge you to stay away from Tsar if you belong to the younger half of the population. That stuff is NOT attractive by any means and unless you are a true collector you probably wont need to own it.

At the very least you should sample first, just do yourself that favor :)

Smelled both, and came away with a FB of Pour Homme.  Enjoying it very much now that the weather is just beginning to cool a bit.

I have sampled both and was torn between the two yet I do not want to own both at this time.

I have bought the Tsar and I thank you all for your insight. And for the record I am in the "later half " of the population...
