How long does a bottle last you?

I tend to complain a lot about fragrances prices but at the same time, a bottle lasts me a long time. Granted, it's been a while that I have used fragrances and I don't wear them on a daily basis. Just curious though, how long does a bottle of fragrance, say 3.4oz, last you?

Actually, I can't remember the last time I finished a full bottle. I usually swap, sell or give it away before finishing.

Irecently finished polo double black 2.5 oz. about 4 years

Since I increasingly buy backups as well as different standalone fragrances as of lately- more than a year, but ONLY because I never use up one single bottle nor only one signature fragrance, but have a prettyconstant (and steadily increasing) fragrance rotation. If howeverI would add the wearing time of the standalone bottles from my rotation alternately used, it would be anywhere betweena few months and a little over a year per bottle (on average).

The calculations vary by sprayer, but a good estimate is approoximatly 8 - 10 sprays equal 1 ml of fragrance. How many sprays you use per day is up to you, but there is the approximate math. If you alternate fragrances, or in the case of many on this site, you alternate among 50 - 100 bottles...well, let's just say a bottle can last a long time

Never really measured the time, but as you say - a long time especially for 100ml and larger.

How many bottles do you think you've finished (if any)? With your collection, I can't imagine anything getting more than a few wears per year...

The only ones I can remember clearly finishing was when I first started having an interest in fragrances almost 4 decades ago when I wasn't a serious collector. As for more recently, a few bottles of Gengis Khan and very few others whose names escape me .That's about it. I'd say 99.9% are still full to the top.

I finished a bottle of L'eau D'issey long time ago. I recalled wearing it a lot and used the 75ml bottle up within 2 years.

Once I realized that my prada amber intense should only be worn in cool weather and not all year long. And now I know which fragrances to wear in what seasons, I haven't finished one yet. And my prada has been around for almost 4 years. (100ml)

The last few bottles I finished were: Armani Eau pour Homme 50 ml in about a year. Likewise for RL Polo Sport and Tommy by Hilfiger. But this was back in the early 90s when my wardrobe had a total of 2-3 fragrances. Since joining BN in 2009 I have yet to empty a bottle from daily wear. It's insane, lol. My sample stash alone can keep me fragrant for a few years!

I don't think I've ever finished a bottle, but not for lack of enjoyment.

    Since I've started collecting, None.

Prior to that (for the past 3.5 years) i had a rotation of CK One, Aqua Di Gio, Armani Code, and then Terre D' Hermes.

I used Terre D' Hermes into the ground when i got it a year ago and still have like 10 or so ml remaining. I got a little less then 25ml of ADG remaining. CK one and Armani Code which I've owned for possibly 4 years now I finished in the past half year.

Now these days I have something like 12 bottles to use and over 65 samplers and decants so I'm hard pressed to even use them properly.

I also apply them carefully now these days.

Depending on the type of scent (light / powerful) a bottle will usually last me no less than a year. Sometimes that could be 15months or even 18months. But it's usually at least a year before I go through a whole 100ml.
