Welcome. Do yourself a favor and go buy a bottle of Creed Aventus Z01 batch and you will be right at home with the hot topics!

Popular trend?  I would say Slumberhouse.  However, please do not take that as an endorsement.

Havne't heard of Creed Aventus Z01, but I heard of Creed Irish Tweed and Imperial Millesime.  Why is Creed Aventus Z01 a hot topic?

Also, where do you guys recommend for buying samples online? Like where can I get those Creed samples? Any websites?

Around here, Bentley Intense for Men has been receiving a lot of attention lately.

It might be helpful for suggestions if we know your favorite notes, your favorite scents thus far, in high school, college, etc.

    Welcome to Basenotes!

Popular trends here on Basenotes or popular trends among the wider public. Our buying habits aren't really representative of industry trends, although I suspect we are disproportionate purchasers of oud scents.

My Fav notes are tobacco, amber, cedar type like smell but not overpowering.  Something like Dolce & Gabbana The One I think.  But I dont want to buy cheap colognes.  I want something that is on the expensive side and has a high reputation.

Herod by Parfums de Marly - cinnamon, tobacco, cedar, vanilla -not overpowering, long lasting, and good projection.
Check out either review here at BN or Fragrantica. Good luck!

This can be gotten from Oswalds Parfumerie in New York and now this line is being sold by Fragrancenet, but not sure if Fragrancenet has Herod. I think it's pretty popular in their line. Just my opinion.

    Agree!

OP - You can also buy samples to test from "First in Fragrance" before buying a bottle.

Universalperfumesandcosmetics dot com also sells Herod $160. I have bought from it a couple times and just fine IMO.

Yea I'll check them out.  But do you guys have any more recommendations?  Does Creed have anything good?

Also, how good is Fragrance dot net? Are they legit? They have a lot of discount and a lot of different brands.

And what 's so special about the Creed Aventus that's a lot of ppl talking about?
