Ambre Précieux for a gloomy, London day.
Quiz : Which is Betrand Duchaufour and which chef Heston Blumenthal ?
Best to all.
Good morning all!
Gloomy, damp day here as well, so Anjin from Pell Wall Perfumes to brighten up the morning a bit!
Excellent stuff, thank you, gandhajala - must come back later & see how many guess correctly :)
Hard to tell, Gandhajala! They could be twins.
Yet another gloomy, wet day here in Shropshire and
my thoughts are turning back to autumnal scents, after
an unexpected Indian summer last week.
Layering two Les Nereides scents today : Douceur de Vanille
and Opoponax Imperiale.
I think I'd have to smell them to be sure. Unless Duchaufour has recently perfected an intoxicating scent based on snail porridge.
Habit Rouge for me today, and it feels just right Not sure yet what I'll change into for the opera tonight.
Have a good day one and all!
Days are flying here, apples were fun. After apples, we stopped to see a friend -- the owner of the restaurant where I used to work when we were opened -- she has recently lost a younger brother (30 y.o.). Lots of raw wounds in their family. Played with their cat Bartholomew (they call him Black Bart). Made a bean, spinach and cheese salad together, had it for supper, left some apples with them.
Hugs to kalli. Girl, if you need to talk and vent out, please PM me. Please also update your To Test list.
Still can't get Eva Cassidi from yesterday's post by kbe out of my head. I encourage everybody to Google her and check more of her songs on YouTube as well as a few documentaries.
Today's plans include the trip to West Bend Grotto and wine testing in Algona. When there are no huge tourist attractions around -- not like the Opera House or majestic mountains -- small wonders will work too, just for the change of pace. Where there's a will, right?
Ineke Briar Rose. It works best on me this time of a year. Baking an apple pie for breakfast.
Absolutely. Just looked the West Bend Grotto up online: that's one crazy place!
