Armani Privé- Myrrhe Imperiale

    Armani Privé- Myrrhe Imperiale

This is a newer one in the Prive line and not yet available in the U.S.. Can't find anyone to ship from the UK or EU.

I really, really dislike the way that new perfume launches happen all over the globe and we're the last to have those frags available to buy!

Anyway, has anyone here sampled this new one, Privé Myrrhe Imperiale; can anyone give their opinion and review?

I love Bois d'Encens and still wear the scent from the original launch. Myrrh is very different from frankincense and am curious how this one plays out.

Hadn't heard of this one yet. I love every one from the Privé line so far, so I am going to give this a try - if I am ever able to. Thanks for the heads up!

Not seen it yet, but will check it out.

The rest of the line hasn't really done it for me -- but love the bottles.

Samples of Myrrh Imperiale is already available on StC.

I think this'll be excellent, like Bois d'Encens . Unless it's like Cuir Noir. Then it'll be just ok.

    Myrrhe is a tricky note.

I get the feeling that myrrh is one of your favorite notes. Would I be wrong?

I'm sampling this one today, it's nice and hasa lot of incense and is a little smoky.

    Thanks!

Sounds wonderful; I knew it would more than likely be a scent I'd wear. Maybe it's a good thing it's a new City Exclusive - fb's won't be available everywhere for another couple years. My wallet is still smoking from my last few purchases!

I have been using this one for a week now. It starts out with smoky resin and a hint of liquorice. The characteristc Myrrh appears next and is delicate and subtle. The final chapter (which comes too soon imo) is very dry and woody/dusty, with bleak shades of the glorious Myrrh. A fairly well composed scent but rather heavy on the price tag and the longevity is dissapointing.

Tried this on a paper strip today - not on skin as I was already wearing perfume and I'm a bit of a purist in that respect.

Anyway,... the opening was wow! but also somewhat familiar. There seemed to be a passing resemblance toJubilation for men but without the berry notes. I was walking about thinking I need to get a sample from somewhere and test this properly. But as time passed I felt the overall impression get much sweeter than the beginning and with it also somewhat less varied. This was sinking quickly into pleasant sweet dullness.

Only a passing impression, not a proper wear, but thought I'd throw it in to see if my thoughts on this rang any bells for anyone else.

Neiman Marcus carries many (but not all) of the line.
