    Two AWESOME cheap fragrances

I recently bought a couple of cheapy fragrances that are really notable for their quality. The best one is called 'Iconic' from a range called 'First Glance Lasting Impressions' Distributed by a company called JAK Agency and endorsed by Radio Days (whoever they are). Weirdly, this is marketed towards women as it is a pretty macho fragrance. There are 4 fragrances made by this company and at least two are knock offs of popular fragrances ( 'Rebel' with a picture of James Dean smells like ck One and 'The King' with a picture of Elvis smells like Joop! Homme). To me 'Iconic' (with a picture of Marilyn Monroe on the bottle) is an attampt at a Mugler style fragrance, but come across more like a 'mugger' fragrance. Imagine Amen or Cuba Red mixed with Lauder Men. It is described on the back of the box as an Oriental Woody fragrance. I got it on sale for $3.50 (usually $5). I do not know if this is available outside Australia, but if it is, it is well worth a try. It is made in China.

The second fragrance is definitely available outside Australia and also made in China. It is by a company called Omerta (Coscentra) and it is 'Patchouli' from their Pure Ligne Wellness range. I got it for $7.50 and in a nutshell it is a powdery ambery patchouli.

I would really like to hear if anyone else has discovered any low- cost gems.

    My best "cheapie" scores are...

A fragrance sampler from Cuba Paris containing four 35ml cigar shaped bottles for $9.99. I'm still getting to know each, however, I like Red a great deal.

    100ml Quorum $16.99

    120ml Grey Flannel $6.99

    30ml David Beckham Homme $9.99

    177ml Pinaud Clubman $6.99

    100ml Gillette Cool Wave $5.99

18ml Pierre Cardin eau de Cologne $2.99

    I love a great cheapie!

    Cheers,

    TC

R de Revillon is the ultimate cheapie score, imo.

It is a fantastic, novel summer scent by the maestro, Maurice Roucel!

Tigercasual, that is great price for Grey Flannel! Lairdangus, R de revillon is definitely on my list! i saw 200ml for about $14...$25 postage to Australia. i got a 100ml bottle of Athkar Noir by Preferred Fragrances for $3. It is a fair knock off of Drakkar Noir.
