Help me choose out of 4 these frangrances

    Hi,

I'm new to the forum, and the last 2 days I read a lot of information on this website, it's great!

I'm looking for a new fragrance since my Armani Black Code has been stolen on holiday. (out of my tent, lol)

Anyway I only have Acqua di gio now. Which I like, but the longevity is to short. And maybe a bit to common.

I'm not really sure what to think about Code. I only used it for a few weeks. I liked it. but maybe it was a bit to strong for me. I'm not really sure about this though. lets just say I like the odor.

A bit side info about me: I'm 26 years old and pretty laid back. not very mature (also in the face), clean, fresh, love sports and a bit trendy.

Since I'm very new to fragrances I wanna play it safe and my list has popular and classic fragrances.

But it's hard to say which one to buy.

I look for something all year around, daily wear, a bit fresh, sexy and warm.

I'm down to 4 fragrances now.

    - Light Blue Pour Homme by Dolce & Gabbana

    - Eternity For Men by Calvin Klein

    - Essential by Lacoste

    - CK One by Calvin Klein

Could anybody give me recommendations, advice etc.  which one to buy.

I'm also open to other ideas of course.

    Welcome to basenotes.

Light Blue is nearly a clone for Aqua di Gio and longevity is awful. My son about your age really likes
Essential by Lacoste and I find it pleasant as well. The Calvin Kleins will be very common if you are looking for a unique smell I would avoid both. Many on this site will have a better feel than I but that is my two cents. Also, take a sniff of Bleu by Channel.

    Good luck on your journey.

Welcome to you Fespo! My pick for you out of your four choices would be Essential by Lacoste

I would look to other brands but if you have to absolutely choose one, then Essential.

I'm not sure if you can find it in a store like Macys', but if you're shopping online i would give some serious consideration to Gucci Pour Homme II. Very versatile and easy to like. I think it is exactly what you are looking for. But, if you like one of the 4 on your list, buy it. Just caus some basenoters don't like em', doesn't mean you can't.

Shoot -- you need to sack the above for a start

Head straight for the Dior counter and grab some quality

I'll second Bleu de Chanel and you should also try L'Eau D'Issey by Issey Miyake.

bleu de chanel might be your best bet, for a cheap and good aquatic - halston unbound.

if you are looking for budget priced masterworks, try these:

    quorum

    aqua brava

    aqua lavanda

    montana d'homme (the red box)

    tabac original edc

    giorgio

    grey flannel

    halston z-14

all of this stuff is priced under $20 the big bottle
