I haven't tried ADV scents, though, I really want to try that Iris Nazarena. Sounds so intriguing to me.
Test driving Magie Noire. I like it, yes I do. I didn't spray near the neck as sometimes oakmoss can make me a little sneezy. But I do like it, it's mossy, soapy. This isn't the vintage, I may have to find some though. I do like oakmoss.
That's an amazing haul, Xscent! Lucky you.
I'm in L'Heure Bleue EdC today, courtesy of a very generous fellow. It's really wonderful stuff - but sooo hard to get hold of at an anything approaching a reasonable price.
I was at a book launch last night, and who should past but Thierry Wasser! I was very tempted to waylay him and ask awkward questions about oakmoss.
l have a day off today & l'm still lounging around in a robe, not dressed or scented yet.
l really have to seek out some macarons, they look & sound heavenly.
Kalli, if you get the chance, you must try the vintage MN, it's incredible & really a scent like no other.
saminlondon; Thierry Wasser? Swoon! l think l would lose the power of speech altogether if that happened to me...
Heading out later in the wind & rain to pick up my new specs in town, & to check out TK Maxx for the rumoured Goutals. And maybe get some new boots.
Happy belated birthday to Roberto!
I am nursing a broken tibula today, after a clumsy fall in the
kitchen on Monday. No plaster cast, thank goodness, just a deeply
unattractive aircast boot! I won't be able to drive for six weeks, so may
be on here a lot to save going stir crazy. The worst bit is having to inject
myself in the stomach with Heparin every day to stop potential DVT's.
No sympathy please - I am just a Calamity Kate!
My SOTD is the very lovely Ferre de Ferre (the iris one.)
