Here we have a simple natural scent consisting of fossilized amber, chocolate and a bouquet of blossoms.

This scent has incredible all day lasting power. Close to the skin sillage, but you still can get whiffs of yourself all day. The best chocolate scent I've experienced. A nice musky amber drydown. The key to this scent IMO is the fozzilized amber which I'll give a description below. I just bought a bottle to share with my wife.

Amber Oil, Fossilized: Oleum Succini / Anbar

An extraordinary base note and fixative

Throughout the years we have frequently been asked for Amber oil, and until now, we did not know of any pure essential oil available from Amber. We are excited to present this unique and extremely rare authentic amber oil distilled from 35 million year old tree resin.

The aroma of this beautiful Fossilized Amber Oil is reminiscent of stepping into an ancient temple deep in the largest mountain range of the world, where incense has been burnt and prayers chanted in a timeless tradition. The amber itself was once tree resin that has been transformed by time, heat and pressure to create the fossilized resin that we know as amber. Found in the Himalayan Mountains at an elevation of 2,500 meters, the amber is transformed through a dry distillation process using intense heat and vacuum pressure. The oil is released and recreated to form one of the most precious and rare aromatic oils in the world.

Deep and alluring, the aroma is resinous, leathery, pleasantly smoky and woody-dry with hints of pine and balsamic overtones, somewhat sweet and reminiscent of red wine, agarwood and ambergris with smooth amber undertones. It is a dark viscous liquid that has a very slow dry-down (the scent lasts for many months on a scent strip), becoming sweeter and smoother with time. It is one of the ultimate base notes and fixatives that few natural perfumers have had the opportunity to work with, until now.

Natural Perfumery Uses: Leather and tobacco fragrances are the most obvious uses for this resinous, smoky, earthy oil. It should be used when both smokiness and smooth amber notes are required.
