This thread doesn't refer to what the title seems to suggest to XXI century audiences, but, literally, to a couple of old perfumes that use the word gay (in its original sense) in the name.

I found two of them on ebay, a mysterious Gay by (German?) brand Albert, and a deliciously named Gay Diversion (one advertising: Prelude to adventure). None of them masterpieces, but the interest is of course in the name.
