    Hey fellow basenotes communities

I'm Just into the world of fragrance and thinking to expand my collection but need your all help hehehe

I'm live Malaysia - a tropical country with a warmclimate and it has high humidity and high temperature for whole year long.

For the moment, I only have Dior Homme and Midnight in Paris edp.

As you can see, I sort ofenjoy this type of ppl acclaimed " feminine" male fragrance!!! For example, I personally don't like Givenchy Gentlemen and Burberry London despite they having good rating. For me, I am just cannot stand this kind of scent.

There are many fragrances I cannot find locally like Creed , Tom Ford and etc.

Hope you all can help in suggesting or just giving guidelines.

    Thanks

Any of these, and maybe A* Men (original or Pure Havane). For clarification purposes:EDB=Eau de Beaux by l'Occitane, I believe.

These sound heavy for that climate.

Still, if that's what you like, I suggest 'Le Male'

For hot weather, I usually suggest vetivers, which are fresh and long lasting. Examples are Guerlain Vetiver, Tom Ford Grey Vetiver, Lush Breath of God, and many others.

If you like florals, there are some florals marketed to women that will work very well on men. Examples are Anais Anais (clean rose) and Kenzo Flower (slightly melony).

    Welcome to Basenotes!

Hermes line works quite well in tropical countries. If accessible, please sample

    Un Jardin Sur le Nil
    Un Jardin Après la Mousson
    Un Jardin Sur le Toit
    Eau de Mandarine Ambrée
    Eau de Narcisse Bleu
    Eau de Pamplemousse Rose

Welcome! I tend to drift more toward citrus scents in hot/humid weather so I will suggest you sample Eau d'Hadrien EDP - Annick Goutal. It'll blast you with lemon, then dry down to heaven.
