Creed for sale at Vatican store
by Grant Osborne, 04 December 2008
The entire line of
Creed fragrances are now available at the private Vatican store where the Vatican's 1,500 employees can purchase gifts for family and friends. Creed joins a range of other luxury brands at the three-floor store that offers everything from clothing to accessories to Vatican employees who must present their Vatican identification to enter.
The Vatican store itself has been open and offering goods for three years, operating out of a converted Vatican railway station. The conversion and opening was the work of Cardinal Edmund Szoka, the former archbishop of Detroit who appointed president of the Governorate of Vatican City in 2001.
The company also created a special version of Angelique Encens for the Pope during his visit to the US in the summer.
More about Creed can be found at their website .
