As previously reported, Avril Lavigne was in London on Tuesday to promote her new fragrance, Black Star. The launch party was held at PUNK in Oxford Circus, London, where Avril gave a group of international journalists a preview of her latest project.

Advertisng campaign for Black Star
The fragrance is aimed at her teenage fan-base, and the low entry price point (€16) reflects her target market. The fragrance contains notes of pink hibiscus, black plum and dark chocolate. Lavigne describes Black Star as "young and fresh and edgy".
Available in Europe from July, North America in Autumn and Asia in 2010. The scent will be available as Eau de Parfum 15ml, 30ml, 50ml and 100ml, as well as body lotion, deodorant and shower gel.![]()
