Boadicea the Victorious and The First Lady - Michelle Obama visits London perfumer
by Danielle Cooper, 14 April 2009
Boadicea the Victorious from Perfumer
Michael Boadi is to be launched in the main beauty hall of Selfridges, Oxford Street in mid-May.
British hair-stylist Boadi has been selling his 12-strong Autumn/Winter 08/09 collection and the six fragrances from the Spring/Summer 09 collection in Harrods. The brand has proved very popular, creating waiting lists and bulk buying frenzies.
That success is set to increase following a visit to Mr Boadi recently from one of the most talked about women in the world as we go to press - Michelle Obama. America's first lady not only visited Mr Boadi to talk to the man behind the brand, of which she had heard "sensational things", but is also now the owner of three scents from the line -
Noble,
Divine and
Delicate.
The collection will retail at the London department stores at £85 for 50ml.
