Alexa Rodulfo announces three new candles
Following the launch of her debut scented candle Bois D’Alexa, Alexa Rodulfo is expanding her range with three more  fragrances: Bois Blanc, Bois Sauvage and Bois D’Amour.

Bois Blanc is a modern scent with base notes of violet leaf, bergamot and grapefruit, combined with spicy accents of nutmeg and cloves. The dry notes of cedar wood are anchored with woody facets of vertiver and sandalwood, and a finishing touch of white musk. Rodulfo comments: “I was inspired by the smell of historical churches and the sweet mix of spices used in incense, woods, resins and candles”

Bois Sauvage, inspired by the “soothing rich scent of a wood library, old leather books, tobacco and cognac” is a blend of acidic citrus fruit and the base perfume of woods. Lemon and orange combine with rum vapors, moss facets and hints of old leather.

Bois D’Amour is built around a mix of red thyme, nutmeg and a strong overtone of invigorating green mint. Other notes include green tea, patchouli and the slightest cannabis accord. The endnote is a blend of gaiac wood, cedar wood and oak.

The handcrafted candles are mixed and poured in Grasse, France, by the village’s world-renowned candle makers using lead-free wicks that are made with 100% cotton. The candles are delicately poured into a French glass with an elegant lead-free pewter lid, which is hand-etched by artisans.
Each candle burns for approximately 50 hours, and are currently available exclusively at the Paris boutique Colette. The range will then be available in stores globally and online from November.end of article
