Basenotes World Exclusive - Magical Moon by Hanae Mori

Basenotes has the world exclusive on the new fragrance from Hanae Mori - the first fragrance since 1998's Haute Couture

Magical Moon is encased in a bottle designed by Pochet Glassworks, and is adorned by flecks of blue moonstone. The cap is sculpted glass, and the box design follows the traditional Hanae Mori palette: Red for parfum, Blue for Eau de Parfum and Pink for Eau de Toilette.

Magical Moon's notes include "buds and blooms harvested according to an ancient lunar calendar": Osmanthus Flower, Rose, Sugar Cane, Cotton Flower, Coconut Milk, Vanilla, White Musk, White Sandalwood, Red Cedar, Incense, Litchi, Patchouli, Pineapple Pulp, Guava Nectar, Star Fruit, Orange Flowers and Pink Berries

The first woman in the world to receive Magica Moon is NASA Mission Specialist Heide Stefanyshyn-Piper of Minnesota, a crew member of the next-to-launch space shuttle Atlantis.

Magical Moon is available from September, exclusively at Nordstroms. Then Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale's, select Saks Fifth Avenue stores, Macy's and Sephora in November.
