Magical Moon is encased in a bottle designed by Pochet Glassworks, and is adorned by flecks of blue moonstone. The cap is sculpted glass, and the box design follows the traditional Hanae Mori palette: Red for parfum, Blue for Eau de Parfum and Pink for Eau de Toilette.

Magical Moon's notes include "buds and blooms harvested according to an ancient lunar calendar": Osmanthus Flower, Rose, Sugar Cane, Cotton Flower, Coconut Milk, Vanilla, White Musk, White Sandalwood, Red Cedar, Incense, Litchi, Patchouli, Pineapple Pulp, Guava Nectar, Star Fruit, Orange Flowers and Pink Berries

The first woman in the world to receive Magica Moon is NASA Mission Specialist Heide Stefanyshyn-Piper of Minnesota, a crew member of the next-to-launch space shuttle Atlantis.

"Like Madame Hanae Mori, who made a lasting contribution to the profile of womankind as Japan's most successful female fashion designer, most prominent businesswoman in any industry and most powerful woman in her nation, Mission Specialist Stefanyshyn-Piper is a pioneer of global proportions, and this gift honors her spirit," said Emmanuel Saujet, CEO of Hanae Mori Parfums, based in Paris and New York.

Magical Moon is available from September, exclusively at Nordstroms. Then Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale's, select Saks Fifth Avenue stores, Macy's and Sephora in November.
