Elizabeth Arden buys a Guinness. (and the rest of the Riviera Concepts portfolio)

Elizabeth Arden announced today the acquisition of the fragrance brands of Canadian-based Riviera Concepts.

The brands are: Hummer, Alfred Sung, Lulu Guinness, Bob Mackie, Nanette Lepore and Cynthia Rowley.

Adrian Ellis, President of Riviera, stated, "It has been a pleasure to work with Elizabeth Arden on this transaction. They offer a tremendous opportunity for these brands to grow. Each brand will benefit from their global infrastructure, sales, marketing, and distribution capabilities."

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
