Unilever to sell fragrance business?

Unilever is said to be in the early stages of selling its fragrance business. Sources say the Anglo-Dutch company is looking to raise $750 million from the sale of its Unilever Cosmetics International business, which makes fragrances for Calvin Klein, Cerruti, Nautica, Lagerfeld, Vera Wang, Chloe and Valentino.
In 2000 Unilever sold off its Elizabeth Arden and Elizabeth Taylor brands to FFI.
L'Oreal, Procter & Gamble Co. and Estee Lauder Cos. Are all expected to be interested.![]()
