Hi Carl. Saw a review you did eons ago about Youth Dew and how you don't subscribe to gender in perfumes and wear Poivre. I bought Poivre in Paris at the Caron boutique and love it. I did have to play with it by adding some real carnation absolute, a drop of jasmine absolute and some black pepper CO2 extract to add counterpoint to the dentist's office clove. Very nice. It's my treasure. Also wear Caron Nuit de Noel, which I also doctored up a bit because of the overbearing iodine smell that is part of their "Mousse de Saxe" base that's in just about everything. I added a drop of vanilla extract and a drop of Maple to bring out the nuttiness a little more, and some civet to make it dirtier. I wear Chanel Cuir de Russie, Chanel Bois des Iles, and YSL Opium for women, sparingly. (I also have mens scents, Armani Prive, Creed Tabarome original, Comme des Garcons incense series, and a bunch concoctions I made myself.
