Iíve been a civil servant, barman, factory worker, IT systems programmer, quality auditor, account executive, lobbyist, intellectual property consultant, customer satisfaction and service consultant, salesman and marketer and specialised in UK Government and Parliament before I took up perfumery as a trade.
I still do all my own web development and host a regular series of networking dinners for the clever and the curious called the Thinkers' Dinners - see www.thinkers-dinners.com for details. I also still take occasional consulting engagements in IP, sales, customer satisfaction / service, web-design, executive coaching and networking.
I live in a rural location in Shropshire where my perfumery is also located and visit central London regularly to keep in touch with old friends and colleagues as well as for business.
Iím a member of the British Society of Perfumers, the Royal Automobile Club and the Hansard Society.
Besides fragrance, Iím also fascinated by history, love gardening and horticulture and politics.
