I am new-ish to the perfume world as an obsession and
obsessed I have become.
First perfume was CK One, Christmas gift 7th grade (I still love it and always have a bottle). A girlfriend took me shopping for "real" perfume on my 25th birthday. That trip to Dillard's (I envy all of you folk who live in cities that have real perfume shops) started something. But it took a few years and that bottle of Chanel Chance running low for me to find all the wonderfulness that is the world of perfume.
I am now a decant & sample addict. I will never again wear the same perfume twice in a row and often do not wear the same scent twice in a day.
Smells I love~
(Almost) All scents Chanel.
Beautiful, classic and perfect! It is nice to spray on a scent and smell the way beautiful women have smelled for decades.
One of my true loves is Sycomore. I am dying to get my hands on a sample of the 1930's original.
VETIVERS! Love Love Love. I want to smell them all...
The stanky and strange really get my motor going.
I seem to be one of the few who really likes Sécrétions Magnifiques and wears it often.
Love the idea of leather and tobacco scents. I have yet to find the perfect leather outside of Cuir de Russie. And the perfect tobacco or tobacco/ leather eludes me. Would love suggestions.
And with that I say-
So many scents, so little time...
Theatre, soaking in the bath with a book, drinking good whiskey with good friends.
