Has been a good one, Lucas, thanks for asking! Very productive day. Hope you've enjoyed your "guy time"! Haven't turned the place into a bachelor pad, have you?
Thanks for your kind words! Borneo is definitely distinctive, and I can see that it wouldn't be for everyone. I'm very happy it's for me though
Thank you for remembering! Of course, I went on FB later and read what you wore, so I knew but thanks!
I also wanted to let you know that even though I haven't commented on your blog yet, I appreciate your writing!
Thanks, Lucas. Likewise
Thanks, Lucas! xoxo
lucas, i've been dealing with ebay for years, no reason to be scared. also, it doesn't take much to open an account, i've seen lots of sellers from poland. ebay is your best bet if you want to keep your wallet damage in check, usually it's a lot lower than any shop you can think of, plus a lot of times you would find discontinued and rare fragrances. their customer service is unparalled and alwasy on the side of the buyer, i have had issues with items not being as described and not arriving / not being received at all and i have never lost any money, customer service always refunded me. definitely recommend ebay, great money saver.
thanks! i swear to god, i don't smell lavender in this one at all. i actually was very tempted to pull the trigger on equistrius and iskander but in the end passed, could not justify the costs, however low (really great price on ebay, about half off retail price). for me, for the time being, it's just eau de gloire and cuir ottoman with the serious intention of buying ambre russe before the end of the year (but only when it goes on sale at liberty). cheers
I've heard good things about Pomelo. The only one I liked enough to buy is Gardenia. It's a soliflore and a pretty good one, which I use to layer with other fragrances. Jo Malone fragrances have never really worked for me before, but I recently tried Vanilla & Anise and love it. It's going to be interesting to see how Jo Loves develops.
BTW, I have finished burning the DVDs. Will send them out Monday or Tuesday.
I'm well, thanks. Not too impressed with the JO Loves samples. I got the Mango Nectar, which is okay, and A Shot of Lime Over Mango, which is... meh! It dries down to something resembling a tumble dryer sheet - FLAT. I'm going to ask them to send me the one with oud. I think the addition of oud might make this interesting... here's hoping it does, otherwise I feel there's nothing in them that make them stand out.
