Got it, thanks. From reading that thread it sounds like they are reacting together to produce something odourless and that happens fairly slowly...

Oh interesting: my chemistry isn't good enough to have predicted that & I'd not noticed a problem. What was the reaction with triplal?

About pickledtink
Background in country hick style make your own everything from food, wine, flower waters, ointments diverse both medical and cosmetic.
Traveled and lived in many places and learned about healing, fragrant herbs and substances in Asia and elsewhere.
Long story but I have some ground up stuff dug up root then mashed in to Honey by a knowledgeable herbalist Buddhist monk who is my good mate which is mighty fine stuff. 12 years later I have no clue what it is but it does indeed do me a load of good. Many years back we walked through the jungle together searching and sniffing. He said. "Everything is here."
I tend to agree.
Sense of smell is our most basic primitive sense which cannot lie.
It's said we are what we eat.

1. I know for sure we smell of what we eat.

2.There is nothing so energizing to the heart mind and soul than to stand on a mountain as the sun rises and smell the hum of life awakening from sleep.

I am a trained Elephant rider of the Guey. It's a bond for life.
When she died so did part of me. When her smell finally vanished from my old clothes I was then truly bereft.
Scent is our deepest connection.

Apart from that I'm your everyday normal idiot who can never find her keys but ponders deep things like why do they send you stuff in the post with empty plastic bags of air? Is there oxygen in them? Should I keep them with cans of soup somewhere in case the world ends and I can save it by breaking the bag and breathing for a moment?
Or not?
