Coming from you, the Reigning Sovereign of the Review, that is quite a compliment. Thank you!
Happy New Year,
Thanks for the Friendship! Take Care!
I always look for your reviews and enjoy them very much. I don't always agree with you, but I appreciate your view and how you write about fragrances. Thanks for putting in the effort.
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I was very interested to read your current thoughts on JHL. This really is one of those fragrances that I really enjoy or don't enjoy at all. No middle ground on this one. Thanks for sharing the names of some of your go to scents. The only one I've tried so far is Myrrhe Ardente. The jury is still out on that one. I need to wear it a few more times to get a better handle on it. I've been meaning to try Dunhill 34 but haven't tracked it down.
Thanks again and I hope the weather situation improves down there. It's getting pretty darn cold up here in the Northwoods.
I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season. I want to thank you for all the time and thoughtful effort you put into your reviews and posts on Basenotes. I've learned so much from you.
I have a few questions about JHL. I recently wore JHL again for the first time in several months. I know this is a fragrance you enjoy very much. I also enjoy JHL, but at times the cinnamon/carnation accord overwhelms me. If I can make it through the mid notes (I'm usually able to do so), I always enjoy the more subdued base notes. I'm wondering how you felt when you first tried JHL. Did you love it instantly or did it grow on you over time? Has your enjoyment of JHL changed in any appreciable way since you wrote your most recent review on JHL? When I read potential holy grail in your review, I really took notice.
Thanks for sharing your time.

One of the best reviews I´ve ever read - Marbert Man review. Defines perfectly the feelings and the opinions created in the brain after sniffing this T-Rex of seventies. I wouldn´t wear it either but I can remember the spirit of these years by sniffing it.
Wonderful reviews! Have you had a chance to sample 1903 by J. Peterman?
I actually came to saw what both Suzieq13 and Slayerized said.
I'm sure you have no shortage of people thanking you for your plentiful reviews.
I just wanted to say "Thank you" for your reviews. I always look for your reviews on any perfume I'm interested in. Whenever I have purchased something based on your reviews, I have not been disapointed.
Informative, descriptive, entertaining.
Hi, first of all thanks for your outstanding reviews!
On one I have a simple short question. Is your review on "Worth pour homme" about the vintage (80's) formulation or the current one as they are both pretty different in eg. sillage and longevity?
Thanks in advance!
