oops...I meant to write "... mean-spirited comments [OTHERS] sometimes make."
Really appreciated your Guide, & refer to it often; also appreciated Secret of Scent. Review might be getting old to you, but would really like to see a new version of the entire Guide. It would be worth it, even for the mean-spirited comments sometimes make. Best of success to you, & hope to hear more from you!
Great to see you here!
Mr. Turin, I just bought The Guide yesterday. Your choices for the best feminines and the best citrus fragrances are great choices - love the comparisons to classical music, too! :-)
Welcome back! (or did you ever leave? ;-)
Good evening Mr. Turin,
I enjoy your book very much and keep it on my side table at all times.
I am missing your quarterly reviews.
I wish you a lot of success in your DARPA project.
Good evening, Mr Turin:
I've just noticed you're online and would just like to greet you, and tell you that I really enjoyed your book. I've heard another one is coming, so I guess I'll be able to get it soon.
I'm worried about the new Feminite du Bois; the original is so perfect for me that I may approach it with prejudice. That's what happened with Givenchy III, which I had idealized as I'd worn it many years ago.
Good luck to you and your family
Hey Luca, couldn't help but notice your activity, you're always welcome here and we'd love to hear what's on your mind. Thanks for being a role model for fragrance writers.
I finished reading The Secret of Scent today. Thanks for writing it!
I saw your post about not reading Basenotes anymore, but are you aware your profile shows as recent as 18th December?
Hello! Are there any frags which you would like to review but have not been able to obtain a sample/decant? Perhaps discontinued ones? If so, there are some very reliable people here who could accomodate you. Stu
