I don't know about feeling sad, but if I'm crying she will bite me. I heard that other cats do that too. I've always wondered what's the logic of this action. Maybe they are so upset that it angers them? (That makes sense to me - I sometimes feel so upset with something and I know that there's nothing I can about the situation that it angers me). Or maybe there's another explanation?
