Welcome to Basenotes!
Your current situation is a strange one, as Le Male is extremely potent for an EdT. May I ask where you purchased your bottle? Chances are that you have very dry skin (please correct me, if I'm wrong). If this is so, you'll need to moisturise your skin before applying a fragrance. There are many skin products currently on the market that could help you. Personally, I would recommend a soap (not shower gel) that will rehydrate your skin (Dove is a particularly good example). Also, try some Jojoba natural oil - many Basenoters swear by this.
There are other factors, which could be the cause of the longevity of Le Male on your skin but these tips would be ones I would give in general. Anyway, let me know how you get on.
P.S. As for my favourite fragrance, it's hard to say. I love everything I have in my wardrobe equally. I try not to keep scents that I think are okay-ish - hence why my wardrobe is so small!
