Hello stalker welcome to Basenotes,
I am not good at telling what fragrance smells like another - they all smell so different to me. All I can tell you is maybe work on how you apply Givenchy Pour Homme. Use a moisturizer on your skin before you apply the fragrance, this will let the fragrance evaporate into the air instead of absorb into your skin. Also, you might spray the GPH on and let it dry. Then spray it over the same spots again. Sometimes this lets the fragrance last longer. GPH doesn't seem to have much longevity.
I do not remember what Givenchy pour Homme smells like since it's been so long. It wasn't really remarkable or outstanding. Reading the notes I think it's a floral and violet woody fragrance. SOmething that's much stronger and floral and slightly woody is XS by Paco Rabanne. I'd recommend some violet based scents but violet is a hit or miss accord. My favorite violet based fragrances are Narciso Rodriguez, Dunhill Fresh and Curve.
