another fan of your "Kouros" review...
Thanks for leading me to Kouros - a great review of a great scent. Like the walk-of-shame scent after a great night of dancing and fucking
Another fan of your review of Kouros! I first bought this when it was introduced, and have worn it ever since. I actually have 2 "vintage" bottles (1981 & 1984). Until Basenotes, I never thought this was a controversial fragrance. Back in the day, every fragrance seemed unique when launched. What I like best about Kouros is it smells especially good on me when I'm on the ranker side. It's also when I get the most compliments about how I smell!
Great review of Kouros. Exactly how I feel about it. There is simply nothing else like it. For me it is the lingering smell of waking up in Paris on a bright cool spring morning after a night of refined excess. And then putting the same clothes on from the night before and heading out for coffee. No wasting time with extended bathing rituals. Just boldly making the most of the day.
That Kouros inspires such feeling is a testament to its eternal greatness.
I love your review - highly amusing and intelligent. Though I am European, I have never been to Tunis - just across the Mediterranean. But I can well imagine the difference between the Kasbah and a shopping mall. Keep up your good work. Best wishes from Sam
