Married to Tony, child-free, usually blissfully ensconced in New Orleans' French Quarter, but currently residing in France's Loire Valley.
I've loved perfume literally as far back as I can remember; one of my first memories is of my mother kissing me goodnight before my parents went out for the evening ...a Chanel No5-scented memory. I started my own collection when I was about three, with those Tinkerbell sets and Avon novelties for little girls but, coming from a long line of avid perfume-lovers, I was always aware of "proper" perfumes and was absolutely over-the-moon when I received my first real perfumes at four, a set of minis that included Chamade and Infini, two favorites that I still love and wear quite frequently.
My other interests include music and ballet. I've been playing the piano and dancing since I was four, and now I've somehow managed to combine the two with a part-time job accompanying tiny-tot ballet classes, which is so much fun I have a hard time considering it work. :)
I also love to cook, and I take all sorts of classes to learn everything I can about our favorite cuisines. And we love to travel, which always gives me lots of good ideas about which cooking classes I want to take next, hehe. And I love to eat, so I exercise a lot ...regular ballet, barre, and running help, but my favorite way to stay fit and active is playing tennis. Playing or watching tennis accounts for much of my free time. Reading takes up most of the rest.
Travel, tennis, ballet, music, books and reading, cooking and eating. :D
I'm a barre instructor and piano accompanist for a ballet academy.

Science is not only compatible with spirituality, it is a profound source of spirituality. When we recognize our place in an immensity of light-years and in the passage of ages, when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling, that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual. ..Carl Sagan
