It seems to me that Beijing has yet to truly begin developing an interest in perfumes. It goes without saying, there are some people wearing fragrances but, compared to the huge majority around, it is in infinitesimally small –but growing- proportions. On a positive note, perhaps it is better this way as, conceivably, it could develop into a headache inducing city? I don’t know. One thing is sure: shopping for perfume can be quite a trying experience. The same goes for wine, if you ask me but…
I playfully grabbed a small 4.5ml tester the other day. After a shower, I applied some of it on myself and kept wondering why I couldn’t really smell anything.
