Dear Mimi--Try Patou's Vacances. I think you will be blown away!
Yum ,souns delish! I just tried Normandie by Patou which is gorgeous too. You can get Chaldee online for a good price in certain places you know............ just a thought !
I would like to know if anyone has found that many scents improve with age. Others, sadly die within a year or two. I've found that a few "bath oils" have lasted for many, many decades. I have to admit I am new to Basenotes. Teach a beginner. Thank you!
Yes Beau ! It's a wonderful rose- a great natural perfume - such development and with lasting strength too. Thanks for reading the Mystery of Musk blog ! The submissions have been a package of talent.
I discovered scent while still a child of four. Lilly of the valley was growing under our verandah. Mother received carnations for Christmas. Mother grew roses during the summer. She wore Evening in Paris for special occasions. I used to go to the perfume counter since when -- I don't remember. Still remember sniffing smelling salts -- are they still around? I almost hit the ground -- ammonia! Funny how smells in your youth stay with you all your life. Thanks.
