Oh, well Coco is my very favorite perfume of all! I've worn it since its release, and it was also my wedding perfume, so it's very special to me ...meaning I'm a bit biased, of course, but I think you simply can't go wrong with Coco. I actually only recently fell in love with the edt, but I believe it's somewhat more wearable than the edp; I really can't comfortably wear the edp on hot summer days here, but the edt is magnificent in the heat! And that body cream is a real indulgence - she'll be over the moon! You've done a great job.
Full disclosure - I'm not a fan of Shalimar, but that's almost entirely due to unfortunate and unshakeable associations and probably has nothing to do with how it actually smells ...but to my nose it's lemon-scented dirty diapers. However, it's a beloved classic, and the diaper part as we know is really just civet, so take all that for what it's worth ...and that's not much considering how my experience with is was shaped.
Hm...well, you've got Christmas covered so let's see how she likes Shalimar and Mistouko; very nice choices and certainly classics, but not everyone's cup of tea, and also quite different from each other, so her reaction to each should give us a good idea about how to proceed. If she loved Youth Dew then she'll probably also love Shalimar since they're both rich orientals, but reactions to Mitsouko are a bit harder to predict. When it ccomes to perfume, I'm a chypre-lover above anything else, but Mits doesn't always work for me - sometimes I get a big ol' sour peach on top of bitter greens, but other times it's absolutely sublime. I consider it difficult, but I'll be interested to know her impressions.
Congratulations on your appointment - very exciting! Hehe, I'd be hard pressed to call what I do a career, but I do enjoy it.
You just let me know if I can ever help you with your gift-giving ...I am a female with a definite opinion, and I do love perfume!
Thanks for the friendship - it's a pleasure to meet you!
