    Hi, nice talking to you!
I'm trying to get a sample from Highland Lilac but I'm not hearing from them... we'll see what happens with that. I didn't see on the site that they were out, paid, got an invoice in the email and nothing so far. I'll wait and see what happens.

I'd be glad to send you a sample of L'Eclat, but my bottle is not as fresh as the one I recently sampled at Saks. Now I'm trying to decide what to do -- to just get a fresh bottle that seems to have a bit more oomph to it or what... decisions decisions... anyway, I'll be glad to send a sample of what I do have when I'm back home.

    Hi Taolady,
I'm glad you liked my little review on L'Eclat d'Arpege. I am curious if more people smell lilac in it rather than peony. Interesting, I love lilac, but in perfumes I don't have a lot of luck smelling it. In Guerlain's Aqua Allegoria Angelique Lilas many smell lilac, but to me it went straight to ylang-ylang. Maybe lilac emphasizes the other floral notes for me -- I'm yet to figure out. Let me know if you smell peony in L'Eclat!

    Hi Taolady!
I was wondering -- Do you know this Kenzo fragrance,
Kenzo Eau De Fleur Tea? I was browsing around on parfum1.com (due to the current 20% off sale) and saw three Kenzo limited edition tree blossom perfumes. I searched on basenotes and came across this review http://www.basenotes.net/threads/216...lection.-Kenzo. which says: The smell of the peony in the juice becomes the main note and mainly reigns above everything, just sharing its presence with a shy hint of green tea as soft musk.

Anyway, was wondering if you had any experience with these...

They are tempting... but I'm imagining that they wouldn't have enough longevity for me.

    Thanks,
    Carolyn (C Rose)
