The funny thing is, when the cotton candy wears off (I think it's called ethyl maltol) the base is pure patchouli, and I finally like it at that point. A friend of mine got some secondhand clothing from a woman who must've had a huge Angel habit because I could smell it all over them. I kept asking, "Is anyone wearing patchouli?" And every one denied it. It turned out to be the clothing--which still smelled of it weeks later. I have Angel to thank for the re-emergence of the popularity of patchouli in mainstream perfumes again!
