A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has sent birthday greetings today! I really appreciate the kind gesture from each of you!

Tonight my partner and I are meeting some friends for bbq, and over the weekend we'll head 75 minutes north to San Francisco for a performance by Alonzo King Lines ballet, plus dinner at a favorite French bistro, a museum or two, and just possibly a quick stop at one or more perfume shopping destinations.

So I'm on my weekend road trip to Vegas and went to Barney's yesterday to check out if they had the smaller size of the Parfums des Rosine yet- like the nice fella in SF said- nope, nothing yet.

I had a comical scene at the Guerlain Boutique- HQ only sent them a tiny amount of the two Arsene Lupin scents (in a vial, not even the whole bottle) so they would only let me sniff from the vial, not test on my skin. The SA was clearly embarrased. She lavishly sprayed everything else I wanted to test.
