Thank you, I look forward to checking them all out.
Hey Odysseusm, thanks for returning my message. I may not explained myself well, I do have a bottle with: "H pour hommes" at the top.
In your review of this cologne I thought you meant that DiCarpo was on the bottle.
So now that that is all out of the way I guess I do have what you describe as the one you review under "H Pour Hommes" here on basenotes.
I am now set straight and have an idea of Fougere Royale's history, my eyes just about popped out of my head when I saw this bottle of "H pour hommes" for sale at an estate sale, at the time I was thinking it was the original "Fourgere Royale" by Houbigant!
How I envy you, having an original. Well maybe somewhere down the road I can find myself an original Houbigant masterpiece!
Hi, I enjoy your reviews and would be curious what you would recommend for a sexy, romantic evening. The catch is that it's for going out dancing and most scents that fit this description feel suffocating in warm, active environments. BTW, I just bought a 10 ml. bottle of Cedar Lavender men's fragrance by Maroma from Whole Foods. Just tried it once at the grocery but so far, I like it.
I'm coming to you because I really need help on a little gem I just found.
I read your review for H Pour Hommes.
In your description you mentioned the subsidiary co. of Houbigant and their release with their name on the bottle.
Well I have come across a bottle of H Pour Hommes but the name of the co. is nowhere on the bottle.
It does say "Eau De Cologne 90" though. followed by Fougere Royale.
What am I looking at here?
Your insight is very much appreciated! Thanks for any input.
Ody! How goes it? Haven't seen you around in a while! I've missed ya!
I just received a sample in a bundle that I think you'd really enjoy, being a fan of all things green and coniferous. The scent is "Le Professional" by Micallef and features a great myrtle note, alongside juniper, mossy notes, galbanum, and although unlisted, I get fir absolute or some other kind of pine needle note. Along with that are some spices - hints of cinnamon and perhaps bay amongst others. It's all done in a modern and upscale way - very classy. Just thought I'd let you know!
Glad to be your friend
I will gladly check Coneheads group;thank you for the invitation
Thank you for your kind remarks about me and my name
Hi there! I'm a BIG fan of Ayala's scents. I really look forward to hearing what you think about them! They are subtle, and they don't smell like anything else on the market. I think you'll really like them.
Just a note to say thank you for your reviews of Ayala Moriel's perfumes.
I came across a mention, hit the database, saw a review by you, checked them all, trusted our shared love of coniferous/wood scents and have ordered samples. Whew!
Now, when they arrive and I am trying them, you will be on hand, won't you? Not "out of the country"? (lol)
