Instead, I favour a more middle aged scent, as I found out to my cost with an ex-boyfriend. At a rather a delicate moment he pulled away in horror shouting, “you smell of my mother!”I’d inadvertently chosen the same perfume his mum had been wearing for years. He thought he’d stumbled into a Greek tragedy.
