13th June, 2012

Mona di Orio are launching Rose Etoile de Hollande as a "salute to Mona di Orio’s life and work as a perfumer". The fragrance is the culmination of Mona’s study of a rose that climbed the walls of Maison Sainte Blanche in Cabris, France.

Notes for the fragrance include: Bergamot from Calabria, White Peach, Heliotropine, Bulgarian & Turkish Rose, Geranium from Egypt, Clove, Patchouli, Cedar from Virginia & Atlas, Vanilla from Madagascar, Benzoin from Siam, Amber and Balsam of Peru.

The fragrance is launched as part of the Les Nombres d’Or Collection. Co-founder of the company, Jeroen Oude Sogtoen said on the company's Facebook page "Mona worked on this Rose Etoile d'Hollande since a long time.. Mona and I never launched it because we had other priorities.. Now it's the moment to launch it and to celebrate Mona".

The perfume is expected to launch in September.

Below you can see a recent interview with Jeroen by Extrait Magazine, where he talks about the new fragrance and Mona.
